1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you ("you" or "User") and Ascendia Technologies LLC, a company based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates ("Ascendia," "we," "us," or "our"), which develops and operates the EdgeVIQ maritime video intelligence platform and brand ("EdgeVIQ"). These Terms govern your access to and use of edgeviq.com and any associated pages, content, and forms (collectively, the "Site").
By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. About This Site
The Site is currently an informational and marketing website describing the EdgeVIQ platform - an AI-powered video intelligence solution for maritime operations - and providing a means for prospective customers to request a product demonstration. The Site does not currently offer account registration, a customer login, a live product dashboard, or online payment processing.
If and when EdgeVIQ makes the product platform (including any fleet dashboard, account system, or subscription service) available to customers, use of that product will be governed by a separate agreement, such as a Master Service Agreement, Order Form, or End User License Agreement, which will be provided to customers at that time and will take precedence over these Terms for matters relating to the product itself.
3. Eligibility
The Site is intended for business and professional use by individuals who are at least 18 years old and have the authority to engage with us on behalf of themselves or their organization. By using the Site, you represent that you meet these requirements.
4. Use of the Site
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Use the Site in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international law or regulation;
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through our demo request form or other contact channels;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, our systems, or any related network;

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate your access to the Site if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.
5. Demo Requests and Communications
When you submit a demo request or otherwise contact us through the Site, you agree to provide accurate and current information. Submitting a demo request does not create any binding obligation on either party to enter into a commercial agreement; it is an expression of interest that we will use to follow up with you. Any resulting commercial relationship, including pricing, deliverables, and product terms, will be governed by a separate written agreement signed by both parties.
By submitting your contact information, you consent to being contacted by our team via email or phone regarding your inquiry, in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, product names (including "EdgeVIQ"), images, videos, and software, is owned by or licensed to Ascendia Technologies LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except as expressly permitted by these Terms, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Site or its content without our prior written consent.
Nothing in these Terms grants you any right or license to use our trademarks, logos, or brand features without our prior written permission.
7. Third-Party Links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites or resources that are not owned or controlled by us. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party sites, and inclusion of any link does not imply our endorsement. Your use of any third-party site is at your own risk and subject to that site's own terms and policies.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site and all content, information, and materials on it are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.
Descriptions of EdgeVIQ's capabilities on the Site (including detection features, event types, and performance characteristics) are provided for general informational purposes. Actual product functionality, performance, and specifications available to customers will be defined in the applicable commercial agreement and product documentation.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ascendia Technologies LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Site, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to your use of the Site shall not exceed the amount, if any, you have paid to us for use of the Site (which, for the informational marketing Site, is expected to be zero).
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Ascendia Technologies LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.
11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them or the Site, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates, as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, unless the parties agree in writing to resolve the dispute through arbitration or another mutually agreed method.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Site, our practices, or applicable law. The revised Terms will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date, and your continued use of the Site after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 6, 8, 9, 10, and 11) will survive.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
